Georgetown Councilman Brian Pettyjohn today announced his candidacy for Mayor of Georgetown.  Councilman Pettyjohn currently serves as Councilman for the Fourth Ward, a seat he has held since 2008.  If elected Mayor, Councilman Pettyjohn intends on continuing the current practices of fiscal restraint, while utilizing Town Resources to bring commercial development to Georgetown.
 
If necessary, the Georgetown Municipal Election will be held Saturday, May 8th .
